Write the things which you have seen

“Write the things
which you have seen,
and the things which are,
and the things
which will take place
after this”
(Revelation 1:19)

The Apostle John
Was the one who:
“Now there was leaning
on Jesus’ bosom
one of His disciples,
whom Jesus loved”
(John 13:23)

John wrote the book of Revelation
While in exile on the island
Of Patmos

He was exiled around 75
And the events he wrote about
Took place between 90 and 96

We NOW are living in 2022

John lived in the first Century
And died around the age of 99

Just under 2,000 years ago

I say all this
To try and get us to understand
The difference between
John’s life and ours…

Sometimes we have the
Tendency to FORGET…
That John knew NOTHING
About nuclear weapons…

And yet so many people
Look at the Book of Revelation
And other biblical prophecies
(Like in Ezekiel and/or Daniel)
And SAY that what is said
Is BEST described by
A nuclear explosion…

You may NEED to STOP
For a moment…

And consider your own
Pre-conceived ideas
Of what the bible is
Talking about
Especially…
In the realm of prohecy…

“Write the things
which you have seen,
and the things which are,
and the things
which will take place
after this”
(Revelation 1:19)

John wrote about WHAT he SAW
With his OWN understanding

We READ what he SAID
With OUR understanding

And the TWO are nearly
2,000 years apart…

There are people living TODAY
In their 90’s or even over 100
Who have SEEN major
Technological changes
In their OWN life…

Some of us…
Not even as old as that
Have SEEN major changes

In my own life
The first personal computers
Were being made
As I left University in 1982

The World Wide Web
Came into existence
Around 1991 – www.

Smart phones are considered
As common place today…

And yet in 1970 there were
NO mobile phones
They did NOT exist…

That’s just over 50 years ago…

So READ these pictures
That John describes
In the Book of Revelation
With a heart open to God

Let yourself be led and guided
By the Holy Spirit
As He brings pictures
To your mind
And explains what these
Things mean for YOU…
