Jesus said:
“Another parable He put forth to them, saying:
“The kingdom of heaven is like
a man who sowed good seed in his field;”
(Matthew 13:24)
“Another parable He put forth to them, saying:
“The kingdom of heaven is like
a mustard seed”
(Matthew 13:31)
“Another parable He spoke to them:
“The kingdom of heaven is like
leaven”
(Matthew 13:33)
“Again,
the kingdom of heaven is like
treasure hidden in a field,
which a man found and hid”
(Matthew 13:44)
“Again,
the kingdom of heaven is like
a merchant seeking beautiful pearls,”
(Matthew 13:45)
“Again,
the kingdom of heaven is like
a dragnet that was cast into the sea
and gathered some of every kind”
(Matthew 13:47)
Jesus also said:
“He who has ears to hear, let him hear!”
(Matthew 13:9)
SIX examples or Parables
That Jesus gave of
What the “kingdom of heaven is like”
And all of them in Chapter 13 of Matthew
But right at the beginning of
Matthew chapter 13,
In verse 9
He said…
“He who has ears to hear, let him hear!”
Now obviously EVERYONE has ears
But NOT everyone is listening
Neither simply listening with their ears
For we are to listen with our heart
Or to put it another way
These truths are spiritually discerned
By FAITH
When someone has had an encounter with Jesus
And chosen to submit to Him
No longer being IN Adam
But Born Again INTO Jesus
They ALLOW the Holy Spirit to speak to them
And their ears HEAR His voice
For those who are NOT IN Christ
This IS foolishness
And they do NOT…
Nor cannot HEAR…
So if you are struggling with what I am saying
Then you may need to be Born Again
Or REST and let your spirit within you SPEAK
