The Weapons of our Warfare are NOT Carnal – Intro.

“For though we walk in the flesh,
we do not war according to the flesh.
For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal
but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds,
casting down arguments and every high thing
that exalts itself against the knowledge of God,
bringing every thought into captivity
to the obedience of Christ”
(2 Corinthians 10:3 – 5)

I started writing this piece
Thinking that it would be easy
As so much has flowed from me
Since God started me on this writing journey

But this is now the second day
And I have started again
As there seems to be so much that God
Wants to convey to me in and through this passage

God talks to each of us – ALL the time
Some things are for us, personally
But I believe that nothing is JUST FOR ME

My life, has so often, been like an “open book”
I “wear my heart on my sleeve”
“What you see is what you get”
Which can be volatile, to say the least
As I disciple and work with people

And yet God has led me to write
And share what He gives me To the world
(I say that as this is posted on alancapper.com)

Being open and vulnerable can be a dangerous place to be
But with God it is the most comfortable place
Where we can be at rest in love and joy and peace
“Trust and obey for there is no other way
To be happy in Jesus but to trust and obey”
