The Four Gospel writers are:
Matthew
Mark
Luke
John
Matthew and John were Disciples
Or more particularly
They were among the twelve Apostles
I say this, as there were other Disciples
Or other followers of Jesus
“After these things the Lord
appointed seventy others also”
(Luke 10:1)
Mark and Luke may have been
Among the seventy (70)
Other Disciples
But we are not told
When you read the four Gospels
You are reading about the life of Jesus
From four different points of view
Many of the stories are the same
Or at least similar
And we need to bear this in mind
All four Gospels mention
John baptising Jesus
But this event only happened
ONCE
