The “Feel Good” Factor Part 2

We “Feel Good” when we have
Achieved something
But does it always satisfy us?

Sometimes we still “Feel Empty”
We feel that there is something missing…

I suggested in the first “Feel Good” Factor
That seeking to be entertained
May leave us feeling EMPTY
Entertainment and amusement
Has fleeting fulfilment
And does NOT satisfy

The prophet Isaiah says it like this:
“You will keep him in perfect peace,
Whose mind is stayed on You,
Because he trusts in You.”
(Isaiah 26:3)

What we think upon
Or more specifically
WHO we think upon
Is what brings us PEACE
And true godly PEACE
Is what satisfies

So once again we have a choice
Seek, look for satisfaction
In entertainment and amusement…

Allow our minds to work in neutral
Being filled with what we watch
Or what we listen to…

Or spend time thinking about God
Reading His Word
Talking to our heavenly Daddy
In a close personal relationship
Keeping our minds stayed, focused

It is a matter of choice
But it is also a matter of trust

Those you trust – you seek
Those you trust – you spend time with
How does your life measure up…?
