Why do we do what we do? Does it even matter? Does it really matter? Are you simply "looking" For problems? Surely at the end of the day It's only a trifling Little thing... Isn't it...? "My son, give attention to my words; Incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes; Keep them in the midst of your heart; For they are life to those who find them, And health to all their flesh. Keep your heart with all diligence, For out of it spring the issues of life." (Proverbs 4:20 - 23) Doing what is "Right" or Doing what is "Convenient" Ultimately is a matter Of the "Heart"... The "Heart" For a believer... For a Christian... Is more than the organ That BEATS to keep Us ALIVE... "The Lord has sought for Himself a man after His own heart" (1 Samuel 13:14) The "Heart" is where Our spirit is And it is where The Holy Spirit resides... So when the Bible Talks about David Who would become The NEW King of Israel After King Saul... God talks about David As being a "man after His own heart" (1 Samuel 13:14) So if our heart is where The Holy Spirit connects With us... Then surely it is important Whether or not we do What is "Right" or We do what is "Convenient"... In the case of Joseph And Potiphar's wife (Genesis 39) Joseph did not act Out of what was "Convenient" but Rather he acted out of what Was "Right" in the sight Of God... Many might argue: "Who would know...?" But for Joseph... "God would know" And that was enough For him to "run from" Potiphar's wife... So how is YOUR heart? Are you at peace With the decisions You make... In life...? Are you a person Who believes it is Important to do What is "Right"? Or do you believe It is simply OK To do what is "Convenient"? If you learn how to Listen to your heart... You will make more Godly and wise decisions And choices...
