into the wilderness
to be tempted by the devil.”

And hopefully you have
Looked back to read it
AGAIN
And just ONE more time
WHY?
Because you READ that
Correctly
It WAS the WILL of God
For Jesus to be
Tempted by the devil
But please note
God did NOT tempt Jesus
The devil DID
But it was God’s will
That this should happen
And again – WHY?
Because Jesus could not be
A perfect sacrifice for us
And an appropriate High Priest
If He had not been tempted
As we are
(Hebrews 4:15)
