Didn’t believe in a resurrection
In the first place
(Matthew 22:23)
So for them this was clearly
A trick question that they were
Asking Jesus
Secondly, being married “in this life”
Is restricted to “this life”
So anyone who is married to
Another person or intends to be
Married, the marriage is
“Until death do you part”
However, the church is married
To Jesus and this marriage is eternal
In this life and the next
