“Now it came to pass,
when Jesus had finished all these sayings,
that He said to His disciples,
“You know that after two days is the Passover,
and the Son of Man will be delivered up
to be crucified.””
(Matthew 26:1 – 2)
Jesus SAID to His Disciples…
Jesus KNEW what was going to happen
He KNEW that it was TWO days to Passover
And so He KNEW that He would be crucified
How well do you KNOW…
God’s plan for YOUR life?
Think about this for a while…
Think about what Jesus is saying here…
Think about HOW your own life is going…
Now for some of you…
You know that you are on the right path
But your life is still very much…
“A work in progress”
For others, you know that you
Have somehow got a bit “off track”
NOW is the time to reassess things
And get back with Jesus and “on track”
Jesus is so easy to come back to
As He has never stopped loving you
And can instantly restore you once again
In so many ways, Jesus is not concerned
About how many times you “fall”
But that you “get back up again”
And He is always there to help you
NEVER QUIT
And then again there are others
Who may never have thought
That God HAS a plan for their life
Well He DOES…
“Before I formed you in the womb
I knew you;
Before you were born I sanctified you;
I ordained you a prophet to the nations.”
(Jeremiah 1:5)
Now not everyone is called
To be a prophet…
But God KNOWS you
And has a purpose for your life
You are not here by accident
And finally…
There are those who KNOW, like Jesus
What their purpose is
And are working away at their calling…
Whatever position you find yourself in
Realise and be confident in the fact
That you are not here by accident
And that God HAS a purpose for your life
Ask Him and seek that purpose…
And walk in it…
For Jesus Christ’s sake. Amen.
