How hungry are you for Jesus?

Now I want to start by saying:
“And Jesus said to them,
“I am the bread of life.
He who comes to Me
shall never hunger,
and he who believes in Me
shall never thirst.”
(John 6:35)

All who come to Jesus
Will neither be hungry nor thirst

However, having said that
How hungry are people for Jesus?

Are people seeking answers from Him?
Are they flocking to church?
Are they wanting to go deeper
Through Bible Study or
Discipleship Groups?
Are they seeking godly counsel
From a spiritual father or mother?

“But when He saw the multitudes,
He was moved with compassion for them,
because they were weary and scattered,
like sheep having no shepherd.
Then He said to His disciples,
“The harvest truly is plentiful,
but the laborers are few.
Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest
to send out labourers into His harvest.””
(Matthew 9:36 – 38)

“The multitudes” came to Jesus

They sought Him out
They followed Him
They listened to His teaching

And regarding THESE people
Jesus said:
“The harvest truly is plentiful,
but the labourers are few.
Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest
to send out labourers into His harvest.”
(Matthew 9:37 – 38)

Today’s labourers are Ministers,
Clergy, Pastors
Teaching and equipping the people
Who are seeking Jesus
(Hungry for Him)
