“Behold! The Lamb of God
who takes away the sin of the world!”

This is what John the Baptist
Said about Jesus
We are so familiar with it
We miss what he actually says
It is like a truth which is hidden in
“Plain sight”
So let’s think about this for a minute…
We believe that Jesus forgives SIN
We confess our sin…
We ask God for forgiveness…
But, so often, our sin REMAINS…
It is something we keep coming back to
To ask God to forgive us from…
We don’t seem able to move beyond it
And if you follow me in my thinking…
And have a sense of recognition…
I believe the answer is actually easier
Than we may have ever dreamt of before…
John the Baptist said:
“Behold! The Lamb of God
who takes away the sin of the world!”
(John 1:29)
Jesus didn’t simply come to forgive us…
To forgive us of our sins…
He came to TAKE THEM AWAY…
Now you may need to pause for a moment
And allow this to sink in…
Think about WHAT the scripture SAYS…
Go and read it for yourself
Check it out
See what it says, for yourself…
Don’t simply believe me!
You see…if Jesus has “taken away” our SIN
Then it is NO LONGER OURS!
We truly ARE a NEW creation
(2 Corinthians 5:17)
Accepted…
Beloved…
By the Father
You are LOVED by Him
As He no longer sees your sin
Since Jesus “took it away”…
YES – Jesus paid the price for our sin
When He hung and died upon the cross
And we are forgiven…
But Jesus didn’t JUST forgive us…
He “took SIN away”…
And by believing in Him
And accepting what He has done for you
You are now a NEW creation
Putting on the new man
(Ephesians 4:24)
And living for God in true
Righteousness and holiness
Effortlessly…
This is what Jesus has done for us
Will you believe and receive it…?
